The 2021 Cascade Warbirds Memorial Youth Flight Training Scholarship program is now open for applications!
From November 1, 2020 through February 28, 2021, students interested in learning the art, the avocation, or the career of flying are encouraged to apply for a step up to start their journey.
Scholarship winners will receive private pilot ground school materials and classroom instruction, plus their first two instructional flights. Recipients who complete their introductory training within a specified timeframe are eligible to apply for the Continuing Aviation Education Grant for further support as he or she completes milestones on the way to earning the FAA private pilot certificate. Since 2010, Cascade Warbirds has introduced 60 deserving young people to the magic of flight. In the last five years, eleven have gone on to earn private or higher pilot certificates.
