V-E Day is May 8th and I am interested is putting together a VE Day fly-by in honor of that momentous event. Since we can’t officially fly it as an EAA Warbird Squadron, those who wish to join me may register with Veterans Airlift Command Tribute Wing.
Pilot/aircraft registration is here. Please also contact Smokey so he can gauge interest and begin organizing.
Veterans Airlift Command is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit which connects volunteer pilots with wounded veterans to provide free transportation for non-emergency medical treatment and other purposes.
VAC’s Tribute Wing connects volunteer pilots with event organizers to provide free fly-overs at parades, sporting events, and memorial services.
